Tatiana Ramos is a Colombian visual artist and educator who found in painting a path of transformation and freedom. Her work explores both the figurative and the abstract through shapes, symbols, and contrasts that reveal memories, emotions, and spirituality. Her artistic practice reflects resilience, sensitivity, and a deep connection with the human experience.

Style

My work combines the figurative and the abstract, exploring emotion, memory, and personal experience. In the figurative, I draw inspiration from Abbati, Sernesi, Fatori, Modigliani, and Chaim Soutine, particularly in the expressive use of the brushstroke. In the abstract, I take cues from Joan Miró and Kandinsky, exploring color, composition, and the energy of the mark. Each painting creates a dialogue between figure and abstraction, inviting the viewer to connect with the emotion and memory within each piece.
